Product Introduction

Two highly active silicone additives designed for UV-curing systems, featuring extremely low surface tension to enhance leveling, slip, and scratch resistance.

UV-curable systems span flexo/gravure inks, offset inks, and especially topcoats. Achieving wetting and defect control requires silicone additives with very low surface tension and high reactivity: they boost leveling and slip, cut defects, and reduce tape adhesion. Topcoats also demand scratch and stain resistance. BYK-UV 3590 and BYK-UV 3595 address these needs with ultra-low surface tension and high activity, lowering tape adhesion while improving scratch and anti-fouling performance. Both are suitable for food-packaging applications.
