Product Introduction

Silicone- and aromatic-free defoamer with strong performance and broad compatibility in solvent-based and solvent-free systems.

Defoamers often trade off efficiency and compatibility; BYK-1856, an acrylate-based, silicone-free defoamer, achieves both. It suits systems needing high compatibility and powerful defoaming, including 2K epoxy and 2K polyurethane coatings, plus common thermosets such as epoxy, unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, and low–molecular-weight acrylic pastes.
