PFAS-free silicone defoamers for solvent-based and solvent-free systems.
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been widely used (e.g., non-stick cookware, firefighting foams, coatings) but now face strict scrutiny for potential health risks.
Traditional defoamers often rely on fluorinated silicones for rapid self-deaeration. To offer a fluorine-free alternative, we provide five sustainable options—BYK-1810, BYK-1811, BYK-1815, BYK-1816, and BYK-1818. They deliver high efficiency and strong self-defoaming while remaining fully fluorine-free, suitable across solvent-based and solvent-free systems.
