This product is a 100% active polymer defoamer, free of silicone and VOCs, designed for transparent, thick-layer epoxy systems.

Thick-layer, solvent-free systems demand strong defoaming without clouding. BYK-1748 is a new silicone-free polymer defoamer tailored for transparent, high-build, solvent-free 2K epoxy systems. It delivers powerful defoaming with no clouding or cratering, maintaining clarity even at very high film thicknesses.

BYK-1748 uses primarily bio-based raw materials and contains no VOCs or APEO.
