Volatile Organic Compound-Free and Silicone Powder Defoamer for Water-Based Mineral-Bonded Building Material Formulations
BYK-1692 SD is a versatile, high-efficiency defoamer made from a composite blend of polymers and fatty acid derivatives. It delivers strong defoaming with broad compatibility across dry-mix mortar systems.
It is highly recommended for putty, grout, plaster, self-leveling mortar, and cement-based leveling compounds, and is also suitable for tile adhesive, repair mortar, and three-component polyurethane or epoxy composite systems.
The product combines rapid initial defoaming with long-lasting stability in alkaline systems, ensuring consistent surface appearance and strength throughout the construction cycle.
