It is an anionic surfactant, abbreviated asK12It possesses excellent emulsifying, foaming, penetrating, cleaning, and dispersing properties, with rich and fine foam. It exhibits good compatibility and strong resistance to hard water. Widely used as a foaming agent in toothpaste and an emulsifier in cosmetics, it also serves as a surfactant in shampoos, solvents, and other cleansing cosmetics. Additionally, it finds extensive applications in the pharmaceutical industry, where it is commonly employed as an emulsifier, cleaning agent, dispersant, wetting agent, and foaming agent in the production of formulations such as tablets, granules, capsules, creams, medicated shampoos, and skin cleansers. It is also utilized as a leveling agent in the dyeing and printing industry and as a flotation agent for minerals.
